So ive been on the disabled list for a bit so i was just chillin with my girl and tryin to stay busy. Back to riding now thankfully. Too bad i got on my bike just in time for the big LA storm to hit. So went another two weeks off my bike. So that would almost be 3 months of not riding :( The rain cleared a few days while Brad Gethard was in town. We rode a bit and had some fun. Unfortunatly LA is all schools and he was here on weekdays. We also had a lil jam at my friends house on his lil baby dirt jump and got to watch a bunch of sketchy kids huck it. Check the pics.

If Joe's bio doesn't make you want to buy a BMX and go ride then pretty much nothing will.

ya cant escape the rain,we drove up and down portugal fleeing from it but to no avail,it was pissing daaan all over the place even the legendary algarve had windy doss of wet stuff.we drove down south to a horrible cement park that was mostly stairs, then hit up an old wooden one for a bit which was a wreck but not too bad.fortunately alex took us to some crazy full pipe, where the mighty genndour and ross did battle, the thing was scary,if you hit the rusty spots it flexed like f@ck!ended up in lisbon under a black cloud and ross head telling us about the chariot races held in the city center?

So, it’s been a while. Sorry for that. I have managed to create an SBC youtube channel as well as a vimeo channel thing. There’s a new trailor for Stronger Than All on those, so check that out and get hyped! We’re also going to be uploading Phat Ones (intro should be up there sometime tonight), Style Cats, Domination, and Standard Country in sections. Everyone should definitely bookmark these sites.
Speaking of the video, there’s a pretty awesome and funny (non)review over at FYS by a silly french canadian.
Here, I’ll just copy and paste it…
I got my copy of the new Standard Byke’s dvd today and to be honest I dont really feel like reviewing it…why? because no matter how awesome I’ll say it is, you guys wont understand HOW FUCKING AWESOME THAT VIDEO IS!!! So here’s a few reason why this video is better than everything that came out in the last decade:
-The cover, its sick.
-There’s 2 disk, first is the video wich is all random clips and second disk is riders section.
-Rob Ridge and Jamie Spreitzer….Do I really need to explain why?
-Features the best trick ever thats it its over…aka 180 double whip to indian giver over a 6′ street spine
-The music, its awesome…metal, punk rock and a few hiphop song that suprisingly fits pretty good in the video.
-Ak-47s, cars in fire, half naked girls and random mayhem give this dvd a 1998 vibe wich is…you know…amazing.
So basicly if you’re into video with tons of slow-mo and special effects like that gay ass video…what was the name again…oh yeah Grounded well the new SBC dvd might not be for you.
If you’re into brakeless, pegless, seatless bikes and nosepick tailwhips on flatbanks well this dvd might not be fot you neither…
It sucks, Standard is what bmx is all about and I bet 99% of kids out there have no idea who Jaimy Spreitzer or Rick Moliterno is cause they’re too busy being hanging on ECCD’s nuts… and why the fuck I havnt seen any premiere of this video? The gay ass TCU video is having premiere in like 50 cities and no one is having a Stronger than all premiere? bullshit.
check back later for some UK premiere pics.

The 2008 Deity website has gone live, and all of the hype we've been hearing about their new site and new product line is definitely true. They [both] rock! Their cranks, definitely one of the best in the industry have another year of innovation put into them, and they are now offering an all-new saddle that looks hott.
There is a very informative press release that you can download from us, by clicking that link. It's a good read, but too lengthy even to summarize on here. Open it up and peruse!

The first Aversion T-shirt I ever really liked was the Swirls shirt, and now, in a stroke of genius, the dudes over at Aversion have got them back in stock. Not only that, but there’s also a cryptic Limited Edition (Only 15) version. Get involved.
P.S. There are now only 14…

Went to another new skatepark the other day called Aberdare in Wales somewhere. Quite a strange setup but really fun! There is a really sweet bowl with a vert extension. Super scary but really good to ride. Then there was a box and your usual other ledges etc. Went with Frank (the tank), Ian, Jim, my skater house mate Simon and a few other skaters.

Mincing on the bowl

Table on the extension

More of the same
Will deffinatley go back there, and take a broom this time! Go to the park site to see more of it if you fancy Aberdare skatepark.

So as I mentioned the other day, Sunday afternoon I headed up to the former Epic, now Creation skate park in Birmingham. After a mundane morning, I got a call from Gregg asking if I wanted a lift up with Ray, and couldn?t turn down the offer. Headed up there in Ray?s beast Audi, that car is amazing, proper road trip mobile. It?s even got a DVD player up front to watch some Mutiny road trip video on route. Ray got rage on with everyone and anyone that decided they were going to get in our path, on a mission!
John tabe-o badly lit
Got up there to be greeted by lots of rad Banbury kids, including Josh and his buddy shooting some box stunts, and John, Butler and Craig getting rad. The skate park had changed a bunch since I last went, and had some fun looking new obstacles, want to ride that set up once the arm is fixed up and whilst the weather still sucks.
Butler intabe-o
Ray's bestest stunt
Yet another of that boy looking back
Harry Main was up there meeting Craig for a session. That kid is actually obscene, nuts twist tables, twist old schools, spine 7?s, and all sorts of crazy park radness. He was having the box fully, as well as these wild transfers from mini ramp to vert wall. Yes son.
Harry whips a gap
Condor it
I hadn?t seen Craig ride in ages, he did some pretty sweet stunts, riding better than I?ve seen him in a while. Few stiff ricks over the box though! His invert airs have always been crazy good, and he?s also learnt nice table airs too by the looks of a photo further down this page. Splendid.
Invert by Craig the gorilla

Cheap Ebay wireless flash kits only work on slow shutter speeds it appears. It was always a little temperamental, but lately using it at about 1/160 and slower it seems to work pretty damn well. Makes shooting shots from afar a lot easier, just need to get a cheap second flash from somewhere. John was shredding as always, airing the mini ramp obscenely high and doing plenty of tremendous manoeuvres. He also did some of the smoothest flairs I?ve seen him do, but unfortunately I didn?t manage a half decent shot of those.
One of the best mini ramps ever
Booooooooooooost
Style for a country mile
Today I headed over to Abingdon with my friend Tom to see young sonny jim me lad Aidan. We decided to take a mission to see Uffington white horse. Pretty rad to go for a wander over the fields, the wind was crazy up there. The horse is carved into possibly the sickest looking sledging hill ever, want to head up there next time it snows. Tom just had laser eye surgery and it was drying his eyes out a little, not ideal by any means, so we went for a country drive all over the shire. Also checked out the trails, new stuff was looking dialled, look forward to having two working arms again and getting building rad stuff again. Sweet day of fun with two of the most amazing dudes I know.

Had some pancakes today, click here to read why we do what we do. X rays Friday, hopes are high for a 100% recovered and healed arm. Bring on spring afternoons digging in the woods, and summer evenings riding trails and drinking around the fire. This summer is going to be a real good one. Peace and love.

I don't think I need to say more than that. I'm not a huge football fan, but when the team outside your front door gets into the 'bowl, it's cause for excitement. When the team outside your front door causes one of the biggest upsets in history, and plays a game as close as that, then it's positively worth celebrating! Cheer, and drink a beer.
